Sophie is a 3 1/2 year old cockapoo and has been a registered therapy dog since Sept 2012. She’s a busy working girl and makes weekly visits to a nursing home & local hospital, and a monthly visit to the VA hospital. Sophie was made to be a therapy dog and loves her job. She is so excited to meet each person and makes everyone feel special & loved. When she’s not “working”, she loves to take walks, find new smells to sniff, run & play with her doggie cousins and then snuggle up on a lap.
Tilly is a tiny Papillon. Weighing only 5lbs., she fits perfectly in the laps of all her new friends in the nursing homes we visit. She has the best personality, and loves people, so I knew early on that she would be a good therapy dog. She was only a year and a half when she passed her test. She loves her new job, and knows how to be fair with her time. She moves around the room, so everyone gets a little time with her, and makes sure everyone gets a kiss. When she isn’t working, she likes going hiking, doing tricks, playing with her squeaky stuffed toys, and just cuddling up on a warm lap.
